Using more than one program

“Stacking” means using more than one program for the same business.

Example

  1. A loan from your IFI, plus
  2. Aboriginal Entrepreneurship Program money you do not pay back (through your IFI), plus
  3. A women’s or youth program, like NACCA Indigenous Women Entrepreneurship Program (IWE), plus
  4. In Northern Ontario, the Nishnawbe Aski Development Fund – E-Commerce Grant (up to $8,000).

Another example

Futurpreneur Indigenous Entrepreneur Startup Program (IESP) for youth: up to $25,000 from Futurpreneur plus up to $50,000 from BDC.

Programs can have limits on how they fit together. Ask your IFI before you apply.
